40 Years in Business & Still Serving the Agriculture Community – Sioux Nation Has Everything You Need for Livestock

Sioux Nation has been serving the agriculture industry for 40 years. The business provides everything a farmer or rancher might need for his animals care and health. Although the main focus of their business is directed towards cattle.  You will find they also provide supplies for horse, dogs, cats and poultry.  They feature a full line of vaccines and right now the big demand is for fly control.

Chad Stoeser and Cody Hosler bought Sioux Nation seven years ago from former owners Reggie Nelson and his partner Steve Magdanz. Stoeser and Hosler were employees of Sioux Nation at that time.  They are an authorized Sioux Steel Dealer selling Sioux Bins and livestock equipment. Besides the store at 504 North Deadwood Street, they have a warehouse at 309 Far West Road in Fort Pierre.

The Sioux Nation web site provides the following list of items available:
Animal Health
Cleaning Supplies
Feed
Fencing
Grain Bins
Green Mountain Grills
Lawn Care
Livestock Equipment
Parasiticides and Pesticides
Rodenticides
Seed
Twine & Netwrap
Wildlife Feeder
Wildlife Products
Wormer
Wound Care

Sioux Nation’s Green Mountain Grills are a specialty item that the store sells.  They offer wood pellets and all the accessories for the grills. Their smokeless fire pits are another specialty item.

Although they are busy year round, Sioux Nation’s business follows the ebb and flow of the agriculture industry.  January and February are their slowest months.  Chad said, “We are getting ready for a fall run, creep feed for the cattle, fall shots, pour on for fly control which is a big thing right now. One season rolls into another one.”

Sioux Nation has layer feed and starter feed for poultry, dog food and cat food and can provide everything you need for lawn care and the advice to go with it.

Stoeser takes a little time off in the summer to take his kids to shooting sports events. He just returned yesterday from Rogers, Arkansas where the Pierre team took 5th place in the nation in the BB gun shoot. He will be taking his son to one more in Colorado Springs.  Both his son and daughter are members of the Pierre Shooting Sports Team.
