Chase Auto & RV Heads Up Suicide Prevention Fundraiser & Prepares for Their Busy Season

When Lyle Magorien asked his employee, Leigh Donnan, to select a cause for a fund raiser, Donnan picked suicide prevention.  Donnan learned that Julie Moore, former founder and organizer of Foundation of Hope, had retired and was no longer doing “Walk for Hope.”  Moore has been invited back to do the drawing for the cause she worked on for so many years to help raise funding for the schools for suicide prevention education.

Donnan invited other businesses in Fort Pierre and Pierre to join her in the effort by donating prizes to be raffled and help sell tickets.  To date, she has 16 prizes for over $3,200 in value:  A Real Tree double buddy bear bench, pop up cooler, propane fire pit, heated Bluetooth controlled chair, and wine glasses are all on display at Chase Auto.

Other businesses in Fort Pierre participating with Chase Auto in raffle ticket sales are Total Beauty and Bad River Furniture.  Participating businesses in Pierre are Apryl’s Animal House, Capital Sports, Rustic River, and CommTech.  Some in-person sales will be done and possibly a booth at Runnings on upcoming weekends.

Magorien said “What we have going on here right now at Chase is clearance on our 2022 models and the prices are absolutely amazing. Don’t think that they are not affordable because they are.  You just need to come to see us, pick out a floor plan that you like and we will do our best to put you in something you’ll like.” He added, “It’s time; spring is here. Don’t wait until the last minute!”

“As it pertains to service and “unwinterizing” and getting ready for spring, don’t wait until the last minute,” Magorien cautioned. “We are already a couple of weeks out. That will help your Memorial Day Weekend be smooth if that’s your first trip.”

Magorien added, “We’ve got some rebates on trailers that are rarely offered by the factory. Right now our Aero trailers in all sizes have rebates running from $250 to $1,000.  There are some great savings to be had on trailers.  Give us a call if you are in the market for an enclosed cargo trailer.  We have an excellent selection of those.
